Description

Cat® advanced efficiency engine oil filters provide enhanced protection against particulates.
Can be inserted into the lubrication system during maintenance or when components wear. In addition to equipment manufactured with advanced efficiency lubrication filters, they are available as an upgrade to certain standard efficiency filters.

Although all engine oil filters remove some abrasive particles, many competitive items are not effective at capturing and retaining the particles that cause the most damage to lubrication system components. Manufactured in CAT factory with a rugged, one-piece design and non-metallic center tube, Cat® engine oil filters maximize cleanliness and minimize potential leaks.

Our highly differentiated lubrication filters use spiral and fiberglass acrylic ridges to prevent the pleats of the filter media from curving as fluid passes through the media, to ensure contaminants are captured and maintained. Mismatched filter pleats often fit into the filters, allowing contaminants to be released through the filter media into the “clean” side where they cause additional wear and tear on the components.
