Description

Cat® advanced efficiency engine oil filters provide enhanced protection against particulates.
Can be inserted into the lubrication system during maintenance or when components wear. In addition to equipment manufactured with advanced efficiency lubrication filters, they are available as an upgrade to certain standard efficiency filters.

Although all engine oil filters remove some abrasive particles, many competitive items are not effective at capturing and retaining the particles that cause the most damage to lubrication system components. Manufactured in CAT factory with a rugged, one-piece design and non-metallic center tube, Cat® engine oil filters maximize cleanliness and minimize potential leaks.

Our uniquely designed lubrication filters use fiberglass spiral winding and acrylic pleats to prevent filter flex as fluid passes through it, ensuring contaminants are captured and retained. The pleats of universal filters often undergo flexing, dispersing contaminants through the filter media to the “clean” side where they can prematurely wear down components.
